Vinicio Berti 1964This painting is one of the ten works that came into the municipal collections in 2007 thanks to Maria Pia Liberia Pini, companion and sole heir of the painter who died in 1991. Remaining the owner of the artist's paintings and certain of expressing his wishes, she decided to donate this important collection of paintings to the City of Prato. The donation took place following the exhibition dedicated to Vinicio Berti that was held that same year in the municipal spaces known as the “Antiche Stanze di Santa Caterina”, under the condition that the paintings were exhibited in a place open to the public.
