The Prato paintings constitute an unpublished collection and can be likened to other known works by von Tamm, such as the Vase of Flowers with Mushrooms and Game in the Pallavicini Gallery in Rome. It is possible to make a connection with the Neapolitan school of the late Porpora (Neapolitan still life painter, active in the 17th century) and the 18th-century airiness of the French painter Monnoyer, especially because of the reddish tones.
