Scientific Committee
The Scientific Committee carries out consultancy activities regarding scientific activities, exhibition programs and the policy of increasing the collections.
Its members, appointed on the basis of proven technical and scientific expertise in the areas of interest of the Museum and its collections, are currently:
- Claudio Cerretelli, former director of the Diocesan Museums of Prato and now president of the Opera del Duomo of Prato
- Diana Toccafondi, former archive superintendent for Tuscany
- Lia Brunori, former area official of the Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the metropolitan city of Florence and the provinces of Pistoia and Prato
- Alessia Cecconi, director of the CDSE Foundation - Historical and Ethnographic Documentation Center of the Valdibisenzio
- Isabella Lapi Ballerini, former regional director for Cultural and Landscape Heritage of Tuscany, now on the board of directors of the San Niccolò Foundation
- Teresa Megale, professor at the University of Florence - Department of History, Archaeology, Geography, Art and Entertainment - SAGAS
Manuela Fusi, curator of the Palazzo Pretorio Museum, also participates in the meetings of the Scientific Committee.
