Free service on the ground floor of the museum. Please deposit luggage, parcels, large backpacks in lockers provided with a key.

In the entrance hall, next to the ticket office, is the museum bookshop. A welcoming space where you can find books, catalogues, gadgets and souvenirs, a place where culture and shopping combine, for those who wish to keep a souvenir of their visit. 

The bookshop is open on the same days and during the same times as the Museum.

The museum is equipped with a lift to reach all exhibition floors, as well as a freight elevator in the area of the so-called “former pawnshop”, which houses, among other things, the temporary exhibition spaces and the lecture hall.

Inside the educational room on the first mezzanine there is a Baby Pit Stop with a chair and changing table available to museum visitors. A colourful corner to change and breastfeed your little ones in absolute tranquillity, a space reserved for use during the opening hours of the Museum, which is proving to be more and more baby and child-friendly.

Connect to the museum's Wi-Fi network for free to surf the Internet and share your experience on social networks. Ask at the ticket office how to register for the service by following a few simple steps. 

The Palazzo Pretorio Library has been part of the Prato Provincial Library System network since 2024 and offers scholars the consultation of over 1000 volumes. Open by appointment, to be requested at the email address: segreteria@palazzopretorio.prato.it.

Visits to the permanent exhibition in Italian and English are available for a fee. 
Fee: € 3.00 single / € 5.00 double
