In fact, Giulia was in charge of finishing the paintings, usually painting the landscape backgrounds and flowers in her husband's Madonnas.
The section devoted to the Martini collection in the Museum of Palazzo Pretorio exhibits numerous still lifes, particularly vases of flowers, but also vegetables and greens.
