In a moment of important urban transformation, the photographer's eye deciphers and understands the intensity of the processes and changes that are taking place.
Through the lens of the camera, Guerra tells the stratification of the landscape, and reveals the many types of city that Prato is building and holds in its own form: 50 of 600 shots taken by the Portuguese photographer in October 2017.

Becoming spaces, objects in transformation.
A stratification that highlights an architecture that acts as a scene for the daily actions of man, revealing a landscape that is understood as a dynamic interaction between the subjects who live the city and the objects that conform it. Subject and object then become the layers of an urban tale in which the inhabitant is at the center of the space.
The proposed images, divided into six main sessions, form a collective plot of landscapes, in which Prato is told as a city of contemporaneity, as a "manufacture" of a new way of interpreting urban transformations through the lens of ecology, commented the councilors Simone Mangani and Valerio Barberis.

The exhibition, with free admission, can be visited every day - except on Tuesdays - from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Last admission at 6.30 p.m.
The event is included in the Prato Festival 2018 review, project by the Municipality's Department of Culture.

Fernando Guerra was born in Lisbon in 1970 and graduated in architecture in 1993.
From 1999 to 2005 he taught Architectural Design at the Escola Universitária das Artes de Coimbra. In 2012 he was appointed Canon Expolere, ambassador of Europe Canon for Photography. He was represented by Epson Digigraphie® in 2007; from VIEW Pictures, London - since 2008; from FAB PICS - International Architecture Photography, Cologne - since 2006.
His works are awarded and exhibited by major international museums.
The MOMA New York in 2015 acquired six of his works in the permanent collection.

Elisa C. Cattaneo develops her research in the brackets of landscape urbanism and ecological urbanism to generate new territories of imagination.
A doctor in architectural and urban planning, she was a visiting scholar at the department of History Theory and Criticism, M.I.T. and at the Graduate School of Design, Harvard.
In 2014 she won the Graham Foundation Grant and in 2015 was invited to the Harvard University Wheelwright Prize, a graduate of the Graduate School of Design, Harvard University.
She is the founder of the independent research agency Weakcircus and B.L.U.
Since 2004 she has been teaching in various Italian universities (Turin, Milan, Genoa).
